Health authorities are working double time to educate the public about the importance of vaccination to protect children from vaccine-preventable diseases.<br /><br />Recent data from UNICEF show, 67 million children around the world missed out entirely or partially on routine immunization between 2019 and 2021. Forty-eight million of them did not receive a single routine vaccine also known as "Zero Dose."<br /><br />The Philippines has over one million "Zero Dose" children, making us the second highest in East Asia and fifth highest globally.
